The king sized master suite has space for a sitting or office area - walk-in closet and ensuite bath with double shower. The two bedroom guest wing has a private bathroom. Plenty of closet and storage space.

The open concept living area has expansive floor to ceiling windows and doors opening to the view deck. Perfect for enjoying indoor/outdoor living. Nicely equipped chef’s island kitchen has lots of counter "prep” area. Thelarge pantry and storage cabinet will delight any chef. Appliances included: nearly new stove, dishwasher, microwave and French door refrigerator. Split air conditioners in the bedrooms. Washer, dryer and hot water heaters are also included.

Other amenities:

Large (24’ x 21’) fully tiled studio/work space or gym is separate from the living quarters. It is secure with lots of windows, good light and plenty of storage. Private covered parking for two vehicles.  Plenty of room to garden. A large fenced back yard area with access to the deck for dog. We accept one or two friendly dogs  - no cats.

THE NEIGHBOR

The home has the most amazing views with only one neighbor, the landlord 150 meters away. Chris and Lorraine are the neighbors and owners of the property. They can provide help with tons of area information. Also, because they are close, they will be able to assist if there are any problems.

WEATHER

Because we are located on a hill above the central town of Caldera, we have much cooler temperatures. Typically day time temperatures are in the low to mid 80's and night time tempurtures are in the upper 60's low 70's. It can sometimes get hotter in the dry season. The bedrooms have split air conditioners but it it rarely used. 

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Mague is a very safe neighborhood over looking the small community of Caldera which is part of the Boquete District.

This special home is pleasant 30 minute drive to downtown Boquete. The hot springs and secret waterfalls are very close by.  On the property, during the rainy season there is a swimming hole in a little river.  So you are living close yet very private. Dorado Plus, an excellent super market, is at the junction of the Caldera/Boquete roads. Downtown Caldera has excellent fruits stands and small markets with many staples.. 

ACCESS

Access to the property is through an electric gated entrance off Calle Estrella, a paved road.

The 1/4 mile long driveway winds up the a hill to the house. Plenty of space for guest parking. From here it is approximately a 25 minute drive to Boquete and 45 minutes to David. If you have difficulty walking, this is probably not the place for you.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The house is funished, if needed. Laundry room with washer and dryer is in a corner of the studio. Electric (up to $55 month), water, and trash are included in the monthly rent. Internet service, TV and propane gas are your responsibility. 

THE RENT 

For just $1375 a month you can have all the above. One Year lease, first month, last month’s rent and security deposit.

We have been asked why the butterflies on our web site.  The reason is worth mentioning.  Actually, there are two reasons, one I like butterflies. Two we have a really lot of butterflies and birds that live here.

Why the Butterflies?
